Grigeo Grigiškės AB successfully completed more than one investment project in 2015 and has started 2016 with some good news.

Having assessed the market prospects and opportunities, taking into account the needs of customers, in order to upgrade their product quality and increase production efficiency, the company has successfully implemented another project valued at 3.8 million euro. This time, Grigeo Grigiškės AB invested in the development of production, warehousing and administration facilities and the modernization of its corrugation unit, which has enabled it, by working in three shifts, to increase the output of corrugated cardboard by slightly more than one and a half times.

In addition to higher production volumes, the company also achieved its most important targets, which will enable it to raise its levels of customer satisfaction and trust, while the increased accuracy of cardboard cutting and optimisation of raw material consumption will positively affect its daily performance.

Grigeo Grigiškės AB constantly takes care of occupational safety and, therefore, implements investment projects that not only focus on the business, but also on the improvement of the work conditions. This modernization project was no exception. The installation of the upgraded equipment allowed a reduction in the noise level and temperature in the production facilities. Its production process management has become easier, while the achievement of high standards of equipment performance guaranteed by the equipment manufacturer has made the line even safer for workers.

“We are pleased that, due to the responsible preparation and intense performance of the competent team, the project was implemented on time and very successfully – the upgraded cardboard corrugation unit has already achieved its performance and design indicators and is running at full capacity”, said Gintautas Pangonis, President of Grigeo Grigiškės AB.
